Process
Poetry takes us to new worlds with words. To invite that possibility to everyone, we created visual marketing campaigns that cultivate an inclusive ecosystem. For example, our Love is in the Mail campaign reimagined how people gifted poetry. The Poetry Foundation also became a member of the Kareracter Club, allowing us to help with other visual assets.
Innovation
Like many other forms of art and expression, language is often used to exclude. In an effort to make poetry more accessible to all communities, the Poetry Foundation’s brand consciously embodies an inclusive voice, which is why they have trusted us with visual branding for the last five years. By visually communicating with a new community segment, we are reimagining their relationship with modern audiences and an ancient art form through campaigns like Celebrate Poetry Month.

Impact
We’ve stood beside this team through so much. As they managed big change, like the transition from a team of two to six and rebranding to commemorate their 100th year of existence, we’ve consistently been able to keep them committed to their mission. Our designs include a variety of projects, efforts, and outreach; the Kareracter team has been creating deliverables for annual reports, grant giving, and their podcast since 2019.
